It’s been a while that I have been thinking about changing the look of my kids-theme-parties site and today I actually did it. I hope if you are a regular visitor here, that you won’t click away thinking that you are on the wrong site.
The cute little blonde girl in this image was the “keeper” of all my posts on kids’ party planning and various other party stuff for many months , but she and I moved into different directions and today it was time to finally say goodbye to her.
I would like to hear what you think about the new look of kids-theme-parties… I have also changed the name of the site to “Kids Birthday Party Ideas” as I feel that it is more appropriate for all the information I write about on hosting your kid’s birthday party.
You now have the option of subscribing not only via my RSS feed or to receive updates in your inbox whenever I post some new ideas, but you can also subscribe to receive updates when you leave a comment on a specific post.
Don’t forget that you can also listen to the posts and subscribe to the podcasts that you can download to your computer or iPod. Just click on the “listen now” button at the beginning of a post.
To celebrate the new look of my site I am sharing Peter Rabbit’s Family Recipes with you. This e-book has a beautiful little story of Peter Rabbit that you can print out for your kids as well as some delicious recipes that you can print out for yourself.
Cotton-tail’s Blackberry Lemonade and Peter’s Gooseberry Foolishness will be great for any kid’s party. You can soothe your nerves after the party is over with Mrs. Rabbit’s Chamomile Tea. Just click on the image to download the pdf. file to your computer.
Don’t forget that you can contact me with any questions or suggestions you have about planning your kid’s birthday party. I would also love to hear about the themes and ideas you came up with for birthday parties. Why not send me some photos as well and I will create a special page to share it with the other readers of this site.
As always, have fun when you plan your kid’s birthday party!

Elsie, once more, you are doing a very good job… as always !!! In one of your posts you have mention it…your Computer is your best partner too !!!
Hi KH, it’s great to see you here again. Thank you for your feedback on the changes. Although my computer and I are best partners, I could not in all honesty, have been able to make all these changes without the very good instructions from the designers of this theme. I think they and their computers are also best partners!
Hi Elsie
It is the first time I have been to your site so I cannot compare it to the previous one, but I love this one. Very professional and lots of interesting stuff. I am going to subscribe to your feeds and come back to look at everything later.
Good luck.
P.S. To have a friend you have to be a friend, so I would say that the friendship thing is a two way street between you and your PC/Laptop

Thank you Corinna! Hope you enjoy your other visits too. As for the friendship thing… PC is my best friend… if I have a mouse, I can become friends with the laptop too, but normally it’s too fast for me… lol
Thanks for sharing this, I am trying to plan my little boys birthday party in a week. I came across you site while looking for birthday party ideas. Thanks again, I’ll let you know if I happen to use your ideas!

The new theme on the site looks pretty good. Its very simple but at the same time that is what makes the look and layout work so well. Also thanks for sharing the pdf above.
I love that banner of the leaves where you just get a hint of a party happening below.
I also love this niche site! Looking forward to reading more…

Hi Marion
I am so glad that you like that banner. It is also one of my favourite photos of my granddaughter’s 4th birthday party.
Thank you for visiting and leaving a comment. I hope to see you here often.
I can’t see the banner you’re describing, but the one that is used right now depicts an array of cupcakes. That is certainly the perfect image for “Birthday Party Ideas”, for kids and adults alike! Man, they look delicious (and festive)!

Hi Jason
Thank you for the nice comment on the cupcake banner. I actually use 4 or 5 banners on my site and they change every time you read another post. So I guess you will have to come back and read a few more until you see the banner with the balloons.
Thanks for visiting.
Ooh, I’m excited about those recipes! My family eats like rabbits, so we’ll definitely enjoy those meals. Thanks for the gift!

Glad you like this freebie. Isn’t it a great idea to combine real recipes with a story that children love? It can also be a good idea for a party favour for girls who are interested in baking or cooking.
Hope to see you here again.
The image of balloons outside brightens my winter blahs — my two kids were born in the summer, and we’ve almost always enjoyed warm weather to have outdoor parties. It’s rained a couple of times over the years, but it’s better than expecting snow every year on your birthday, like I did!

Ah Anthony, I feel for you re your birthday in winter. I hope now that you are an adult, you enjoy the parties more with log fires, glühwein and some spicy food…lol.
I agree with you, it is so much easier to host a summer party for kids. No boredom from having to stay inside and turning the house upside down. Just lovely sunshine and blue skies and your party is halfway planned.
Share some of your kids’ summer parties with us, please.
Hi Elsie. I love your site, and I wanted to say that it’s refreshing to see you interacting with other commenters. That’s what you’d hope the comment section achieves: discussion!
Hi Danielle,
Thank you for your visit and for your comment. I do enjoy “talking” to the visitors who leave comments as it can also lead to more ideas on certain topics from which everyone can benefit.
Hope to see you hear again.
